We have exciting news! We are seeking to hire a Children’s Minister who is called into ministry to lead our thriving children’s ministries. The Children’s Minister leads the spiritual development of children by creating a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment. This role equips volunteers, partners with families, and oversees all children’s ministry programming for students ages 3-11.
Job Title: Children’s Minister
Job Status: Part Time
Position Schedule: Minimum of 12 hours of office hours per week; excluding Sundays.
Accountability: This position will be accountable to the Senior Pastor and will report to the Youth Director. He/she will work in conjunction with the Children’s Ministry Directors, and the Youth Committee.
Qualifications:
There are several essential traits, skills and spiritual gifts that are beneficial for effectively leading the Dream Team(volunteers) and nurturing the spiritual growth of children.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee all children’s ministry programs
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer teams
• Develop or implement age-appropriate Biblical curriculum
• Ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment for all children
• Communicate regularly with parents, volunteers, and staff
• Collaborate with church leadership to align ministry goals
• Engage families and encourage participation in discipleship

• Loves working with children and teaching the Bible
• Desire to pursue a call into ministry
• Strong personal faith and commitment to Christian values
• Effective communicator with strong relational skills
• Organized, dependable, and proactive
• Ability to lead, equip, and delegate to volunteers
